Being affectionately given the nickname "Mama" by many pups, Souma is quite motherly for a young male. However, once a pup becomes teen, the play intensifies into a more training-like kind of rough housing. He is best known for keeping his cleanliness in full function, unless when hunting.

Coming from a no-longer-existing pack, Souma had his first taste of wolf meat and blood when he was fairly young. His parents had been killed by his elder brother, but was bitten by karma in the end and was sucked into a sink hole, never to be seen again. Souma was a tiny pup, one who didn't really know any better, so he chose the opportunity, after watching larvae feast on their mother's motionless body, and followed suit. Needless to say, he had taken a liking to it. Honestly, it didn't take too long for him to discover an entire pack with the same taste…
